Our story
Why we do this work
Syafie and Hai Song
Lead Therapists
We began talking about becoming therapists as students at Jurong Junior College, then studied occupational therapy together after National Service. Through our years working in hospitals and community rehabilitation centres, we kept in contact and shared ideas on rehabilitation and new ways to help our patients.
What keeps both of us in this career is getting to know each patient, understanding what matters to them, and journeying alongside them and their family. Some work towards doing what they did before falling ill. Others find a new way of living after a change in health. Being part of helping them reach their goals is what makes the work meaningful for us.
At Pulse Rehab, we shape each plan around the person, use equipment that makes therapy more engaging and supportive, and work with like-minded professionals to widen each family's circle of support through these health changes.
